研究信息: Take Charge of Burn 疼痛 is an interactive program aiming to help manage 疼痛 following a burn injury. It is designed to work with treatments to help decrease 疼痛 和 improve function.
Burns are the fourth leading cause of injury 和 death in the U.S. 尽管灼伤护理专家尽了最大的努力, 烧伤经常导致急性和慢性疼痛, 功能不良, significant psychological distress 和 impaired participation in life 和 work for otherwise healthy individuals. 招聘及参与信息: This study seeks to enroll individuals who experienced a burn injury at least 6 months prior to enrollment. You must be over the age of 18 with access to the internet via a desktop or laptop. 参与涉及到:
- Completing an online assessment of your 疼痛, function 和 how you are doing
- Completing seven 25-minute online lessons at the Take Charge of Burn 疼痛 website
- Repeating the online assessment at two 和 five months after finishing your lessons
